ACAA Statement on Mass Shootings in California

The Asian Columbia Alumni Association (ACAA) is heartbroken by the two mass shootings in Monterey Park and Half Moon Bay, California that have occurred over the span of just three days. What should have been a weekend of joyous celebration of the Lunar New Year has turned into an unfathomable tragedy for the AAPI community in California. Our hearts go out to the families and friends of those impacted in Monterey Park and Half Moon Bay and we send our deepest condolences. ACAA will continue to stand together with the larger AAPI community and support it in these difficult times.
